Prverbs 22:7

Examine the pitfalls of going into debt and steps to take to get out of it.

How to get out of debt:

• Pray and commit your situation to the Lord
• Begin to tithe
• Develop a debt-free mindset
• List all of your debts and stop charging
• Sell off items you no longer want or need
• Establish a spending plan (budget)
• Establish a repayment schedule (start with the smallest debt with the largest interest rate first)
• Consider earning additional income
• Decrease spending (lifestyle adjustment)
• Develop a stewardship mentality and don't give up
